Qatar Trading and Contracting Group
Established in 1992, Qatar Trading and Contracting Group is an expert in Project Management and Execution of Roads, Drainage Systems and Micro-Tunneling for Pipeline and Cabling.The company’s main client is the Public Works Authority.
Over the past years, QTCG has been a major contributor to the developments in the State of Qatar through increased number and scope of projects that it has completed. With more projects coming, QTCG exhibits its ability to meet customers’ requirements as well as local statutory requirements through its dedication, professionalism, knowledge, skilful manpower and stable resources.
Currently, QTCG competes with huge local as well as international companies that have come in the State of Qatarto take part on the State’s development.
Indeed QTCG lives up to its status as a grade A Local Civil Contractor in the State of Qatar as listed by Central Tenders Committee.
With great determination to satisfy its customers’ requirements and to stay fit in this competitive industry, QTCG pursued ISO Certification and developed an Integrated Management System. Certifications were initially granted on 3rd July 2013.
In mid-2013, QTCG had collaborated with international company named MSF Engenharia through a Joint Venture for Local Roads and Drainage Programmeby the Public Works Authoritythensuccessfully qualified on 27th October of the same year for:
LRDP – Group 2 = 200 Million to 900 Million QAR
LRDP – Group 3 = Over 900 Million QAR
QTCG as a sole Contractor has also qualified for LRDP Group 1 = Up to 200 Million QAR.
On 2nd November 2013, the JV with MSF Engenhariaalso received a Notification of Pre-Qualification for Package No. 1 Lateral Interceptor Sewer LIS-01 under the Inner Doha Re-Sewerage Implementation Strategy by the Public Works Authority.LIS-01 was awarded to the JV on 27th January 2016. On mid-2016, PWA has called a sudden halt to the said Framework but after some deliberation, the Memorandum of Contract was officially signed between the JV and the Client on 05th September 2016.
Aside from the abovementioned Framework Programmes, the Joint Venture is currently working in more than a Billion worth PWA Project “Roads and Infrastructure in Doha Industrial Area”.
In 2014 QTCG has engaged in a Joint Venture with Mirrikh Contracting W.L.L. The JV is currently working on multiple Work Order based Contracts under Sewer Repair Replacement & Rehabilitation Framework and TSE Frameworkby PWA.
